My first cruise was quite the experience, one I would definitely repeat especially when you bring your best friend.
Taking an impromptu trip to Chicago for my birthday was one of the best decisions ever.
p.s. Those shoes were my favorites and I have no idea where they ran off to.
My old library would hold two book sales each year. I would attend at least twice each sale. The last day was the best time to stock up on books because it was half price day. I paid less than $5 for the nine books above.
Where do you find thrifty books?
The best part about visiting home is eating at your favorite joint.
The worst part about visiting home is that I am now in the land of slow/no internet. I am at the local library right now using some free WiFi to get my updates done. I’m not taking a hiatus per se but responding to comments, etc. will be delayed. I look forward to some internet down time and also my return in a week or two.
Remember that one time you went to Mexico to visit your old roommates. A fun week with friends is always a good idea.
I miss you guys.
August means the last full month of summer and two full weeks of state fair celebration. Ever since we moved to Missouri, my family and I would attend the state fair each year building a tradition. About a decade ago when my sister graduated from high school (geez, I feel old now) the tradition faded into a rare appearance at the fair.
I’m travelling home for a few weeks next month and would love to fit in a visit to the fair. Besides the must haves of funnel cake, corn dogs, and weird things deep fried, I like visiting the state fair to reminisce the good old days.
